SkinPen Microneedling

SkinPen microneedling treatments use controlled micro-injuries to jumpstart the body’s natural wound-healing process. When performed by a professional aesthetician, microneedling can be used to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin texture, and more.

How Does the SkinPen Work?

The SkinPen microneedling treatment uses a pen-like handpiece. Contained within this equipment are 14 fine microneedles. During treatment, these tiny needles pierce the skin repeatedly to create micro-injuries.

As the skin is punctured, the body’s natural wound-healing process is triggered. The skin responds by creating new collagen and elastin-rich tissue. Overall, this results in a more even tone and texture as the new skin comes in.

Since this process introduces collagen-rich skin, it’s sometimes referred to as collagen induction therapy.

Why Choose SkinPen Treatments?

Most clients choose SkinPen microneedling treatments because it’s a non-invasive treatment option. This means no recovery or downtime. A topical anesthetic is provided before the service to combat any feelings of pain or discomfort.

With SkinPen microneedling treatments, you can expect to see long-lasting, dramatic results. For long-term results, you’ll likely need several sessions. This is a safe treatment option for all skin types and can be used on anyone over the age of 22.
